College Track and Field athletes that received an athletic scholarship started the process very early. They began the recruiting process when they were in 9th grade. The communication with the coaches should be continually till the end of high school so coaches can see how they develop.
Every year coach's weigh their teams and use their scholarships to award their top-notch performing athletes as well as try to get new athletes.
Men's programs funded NCAA D1 / D2: 12.6,NAIA programs 12 scholarships.
Women's programs D1 18 per team,12.6 for NCAA D2 and 12 scholarships for NAIA programs.
Track and field scholarships can be 100% achieved if athlete competes all right level.
Best perform track and field athletes have chances to receive full scholarship in Division I.
